„Secouons Le Joug“ constitue le rapport officiel exhaustif du 19e Conseil fédéral de l’Association catholique de la jeunesse canadienne-française (A.C.J.C.), tenu à Hull en juillet 1922. Cet ouvrage historique documente un moment charnière du militantisme intellectuel et social au Canada français durant l’entre-deux-guerres. À travers les résolutions, les discours et les délibérations des délégués, le texte explore les thèmes essentiels de l’autonomie nationale, de la doctrine sociale de l’Église et de la préservation de l’identité francophone.
