Quantity of solid waste generation in the wards of a Tertiary Hospital

The book documents solid waste generation in typical teaching hospital of developing country. Waste quantification and characterization was done for a week in a month for a year. The extensive data collection makes available information on quantity and composition of waste generated in the wards of teaching hospital in the different ecological periods of a year, which might be hard to comeby in some literature. The book will also afford the readers access to information on per capita waste generation in the different months of a year. In addition, information on types and characteristics of storage receptacles used in a typical Nigerian teaching hospital were systematically documented.
