October 1959 in Amnä – 2 February 1993 in Krefeld) was a Romanian
footballer who played as a left back. He most prominently played for
Bayer Uerdingen in the German Bundesliga championship. Klein made 90
appearances for the Romanian national team, scoring five times. He was
selected to represent Romania at both the Euro 84 and 1990 FIFA World
Cup tournaments.Klein played for Romanian clubs Corvinul Hunedoara and
Dinamo Bucure¿ti before he moved abroad to play for German club Bayer
Uerdingen in 1990.
