Description

Slender column were subjected to eccentric load. Columns were reinforced with four bars having a nominal strength of 500 with longitudinal steel ratio equals to 1. 5%. For M60 and M80 grade concrete, maximum compressive strength of 67 N/mm2 and 86 N/mm2 had occurred for 20% replacement of cement by fly ash. The compressive strength of high performance concrete is improved maximum by replacement of cement by fly ash. Use of fly ash gives significant results on the properties of concrete as compared to normal concrete.
