Description
An Indian boy named Dreamer, back in the eleventh century, must find out where the water from his spring flows; so, he travels down the Rock River, then the Mississippi, to the Gulf – the Endless Ocean. After being away for nineteen moons and returning home, back up his River of Dreams, he enlightens his clan with wonderful stories of his journey – ones they can hardly believe.
The book encourages one to go down his or her own River of Dreams. It suggests that the reader set a goal, then pursue it. The book provides insights into family values as well as values of friendship, respect, love and compassion. Dreamer’s trip is packed with adventure and discovery. It is a book that both young and old would enjoy.
