Chapter 1: Introduction of Polymer, Theory of Conductivity, History and Current trends, Conducting Polymers, Polyaniline, Important Scope of Polyaniline derivatives, applications of conducting polymers. Scope and advantages of synthesis of polyaniline derivatives and its applications. Chapter 2: Materials and Methods. This chapter deals with materials, novel and green approaches of synthesis, detail s of characterization techniques, designing of pellet of polymer material, and detailed study of applications of synthesized conducting polymers as „catalyst“ for the synthesis of Bis-indole compounds. Screening biological activity of bis-indole derivatives. chapter three describes the comparative study of synthesis of poly(o-toluidine), poly(o-anisidine) and poly(2-chloroaniline) using mineral acid dopants like HCl, H2SO4 and HClO4. Chapter 4, we have reported the synthesis of organic acid doped poly (o-toluidine) and poly(o-anisidine) using emulsion polymerization method.
