Description
Between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, the colonial process reached its height. The countries who called the shots were France, England, Holland and Germany. The colonies set up in Asia and Africa did not only provide a supply of raw materials, but were also the scene of tensions between these great powers.
