English footballer who currently plays for Formby. He is a defender. He
joined Everton as a schoolboy and was part of their 1998 FA Youth Cup
winning team, he was man of the match in both legs of the final. Farley,
a very talented centre back, was compared to Alan Hansen by Nick Barmby
and was tipped by Colin Harvey to have an outstanding career. He made
one first team appearance, coming on as a substitute against Derby
County in February 1999 and was substitute at West Ham and Tottenham
Hotspur. However in March 2000 he broke his cheekbone in an Under 19s
match, and drifted further away from the first team, before being
released in May 2000.
