Championship was the 86th PGA Championship, played from August 12 to
August 15 at the Straits Course of the Whistling Straits complex in
Haven, Wisconsin (postal address Kohler). It was the first PGA
Championship held at Whistling Straits. Vijay Singh earned his third
major win in a three hole playoff defeating Justin Leonard and Chris
DiMarco. The purse was $6.25 million and Singh took home $1.125 million.
